FOAM Magazine

Just photographed World Class surfer and southern belle Karina Petroni for the newly relaunched FOAM Magazine.
The first issue came out beautifully.  This issue should hit newsstands in the next 3 weeks to a month.  FOAM is a great women's surf culture, music, lifestyle, fashion magazine.  Kristin Dechter is the new managing editor.  She came from PAPER Magazine so you know it's gonna be beautiful.

Thanks goes to The Wards for letting us attack their home, drink in the grass and extinguish cigarettes in the gutter, thanks to Lauren Ward for making us legit with the locals.  Thanks to all my crew for having my preverbial  back.  You ladies are all sweethearts.  Lastly thanks to Kristina for trusting in me.

I even got a new nick name on the shoot.  From here to I shall be known as Kev-Boogy.

Ciao

I like to show my models what I want from them......

Kristina.  Isn't she a sweetie?  Tough though.  Saw her get barreled in the am. Double over head.

Directing Karina to a mellower paddle out.  She didn't want to get wet ( those floridians are so spoiled) , but she is quite the trooper and I knew the shoot wouldn't be complete without a water shot of her.

Angela my assistant.  Great job!  Thanks for the Pola!

Do you see the ghost?

Great cause......

My friend sent me this.  If your a photographer and looking to do some charitable work this is a good cause.

Target

Just photographed Shaun White for the big red bulls-eye.  I think its the third time in as many months I've shot the red headed wonder and I've know him since he was a crew top, so it's chill. I was pretty excited however to meet for the first time the Target dog ( i'm a dog lover).  So naturally I had my assistant photograph the two of us for lasting memories.  It was sad to see him go when he went.  Til we meet again.......

Big thanks to all the peeps from Target -  Will and Lisa and of course to my crew.

Hummer

Thanks to my entire crew for all their hard work and diligence.  Best shoot yet!

I love my dog.

My Dog is my best friend.  Really.  Half moon Bay, California.  Hummer shoot wrap moment.

I ain't scared of Bruce Irons!

If there is one thing I hate is a mouthy smart ass.  I was in Hawaii recently photographing Bruce and Andy Irons.  Everything started out fine and the shoot went well.  But afterward we went surfing and Bruce dropped in on me at  Pipe and I exploded.  I don't care who he thinks he is or how sick he is.  Don't drop in on me.  I caught up to him on the beach and knocked his ass out.

Ha ha, just kidding!

SALT

Thanks to the SALT crew.  And thanks to Danny Kwok for allowing us to use his home and the
Ranch for our location.  It was a beautiful day.

Death Valley does Holden

Traveled to Death Valley to shoot the Holden Outerwear Fall/Winter 089 campaign.  Great crew of snowboarders all with their own great personal style.  Both inside and out.  Great characters and people.  I took my dog with me and others had their canines along as well.

Excited for the work to appear.  I went a slightly more stylized direction with the photography.  The landscape and the styling leant itself to a slicker, more stylized look in the light and overall exposure ratio.  The word Mike LeBlanc from Holden and I tossed around was 'cinmematic.'

It was a grand success.  And most importantly something everyone is very proud of.

Thanks to Mike from Holden for everything and I mean everything.

Recently photographed Shaun White for Guys NYLON.  I was in NYC when it hit and I saw it all over the place.  Super fun shoot.  Thanks to Marvin Jarett and Stephen Walker of Nylon for the gig.  Check out the article.  Shaun is a pretty funny dude.
