Surfs up

This shot is from a recent trip to Rincon.  Rincon is a classic surf break near Santa Barbara. Since I am only interested in shooting surfing for my own personal pleasure, I am able to take pictures like this.  It's not a good action surf shot by surf magazine standards, but I  think it might look great on the wall.  Free print to the first person to name it for me.

Well my agent(s) Stephanie Anderson, Brie Rose and Anna Lane have been in town this whole week for protfolio reviews.  I dropped by to see some friends and meet new ones at Saatchi and Saatchi LA, TBWA Chiat, Deutsch and Dailey.  Thanks to all who took the time to view my new portfolio.  Always nice to see you all face to face.

I am excited about a job I have upcoming for O'Neill Europe.  We are going to whistler to shoot their team  snowboarding, snowmobiling and camping over night in the great outdoors.  Thanks to Martijn from O'neil europe for the job.  Its going to be a wonderful adventure.

Always a good time shooting up there, dealing with the weather.  I have a special place in my heart for the Telus Festival Pro Photographer Showdown in Whistler where I won two years ago ( first to take  home the 10K prize money). I now go back and judge.  The night I won was the best night of my life, with my father and twin brother in attendance along with the 2000 person crowd.
